PRESS RELEASE
The
CDBA will be offering a Test and Tune on
Friday, July 11th at Dexter
Reservoir in Lowell, OR. This race is
co-sanctioned with the IHBA. It is a Division 1
Points Race. There has been racing there for
over 30 years! Dexter is one of the nicest
tracks in the country! We invite all of
you to attend. Racers may enter the park at 8:00
a.m. on Thursday, July 10th. All
brackets and PCE classes will be offered. Any
Pro boats that show may run exhibition. Cost for
the Test and Tune is $150. We have spoken with
some of you. For lodging information please

11:30 PM Friday May 4, 2008

Police Department regarding Case # 0805395 at 916 727-5500
if you have seen this boat or have information about the
white pickup truck and other vehicle that committed the
crime. The police are currently working on several clues
reported by the neighbors and found at the scene.

Please check the
IHBA
site for new requirements for this year regarding
electrical shutoff and ear bud radio requirements.
"MARCH 4,
2008
MASTER CUT OFFS in 2008:
An electrical power cut off switch (one only) must be
installed near the batteries and be easily accessible from
the outside of the boat. This cut off switch must be
connected to the positive side of the electrical system and
must stop all electrical functions. The "OFF" position must
be clearly indicated with the word "OFF". If the switch is
a push/pull type, "push" must be the action for shutting off
the electrical system. (Pull to turn it on.) Any rods or
cables used to activate the switch must be a minimum of 1/8
inch diameter. Plastic or key switches prohibited. The
power cut off switch must be placed in a location so if
there's a fire in the engine, drivers area or compartment,
rescue crew or track officials can reach it."
